Volvo Ocean Race iPad Floor Stand |
These were the best examples of AV & interactive multimedia in a public space seen in New Zealand. Visitors were able to view and interact with a large variety of pysical and digital exhibits.
There was a good use made of iPads on floor stands. They worked very well showing off physical exhibits behind.
The finshing style of the iPads was very impressive. No sign of any cables. The user interface design was clean and functional. Great use was made of Volvo product videos on the iPads, from cars, to trucks, buses, trains and even jet engines.
A large touch screen table had a map of the earth on which you could track the yachts across the oceans. The multi-touch pinch and zoom gestures worked very well.
